What A UP Student is Not

"Intelligent,bright,smart and the future leaders of tomorrow!!"...Those words were always spoken by the different people whenever they heard the word UP student or whenever they talk about the students of the University of the Philippines..Sometimes,I almost got flattered when they talk about us....WHy???Because almost in my neighborhood they kept on telling all the positive or good attitudes that a UP high student possesses...But my question is!!!Do they know the negative values of the UP High student?????The answer is No....well maybe..some of the many people who describes the students from that particular school.....

People describes a UP high student aN intelligent...Why????Because they knew that they we were taught more advance than any other schools and that we were given special priviledges.....Intelligent in the sense that many UPians pass the different examinations namely in the Bar Exams and many others and also won many contests which includes the local, regional,national or even in the international ones..Intelligent in the sense that many UPian graduates were successful in the different fields and in their lives...But what about the future leaders of tomorrow!!!!Do all of us can be the future leaders of tomorrow!!!

Well,again the answer is not!!!!Not all UPians cannot be called as the future leaders....Why???Because not all UPians possesses all the attitudes that a Leader must possess..Well,some maybe considered as a Leader but not all of us can be......A good leader is someone that is responsible enough to handle problems in his or her own ways to solve it.....a good leader is someone that people can be trusted and a good leader is someone who does not a LAZY ones because people depends on him or her...Some UPians were possessing a "last-minute" action which is a not.....

well some people describe UPians as a geek or a weirdo because they think that we were concentrating with our books and books and books....That is a not...Because we UPians are friendly and also outgoing....

We are not faultless. Meaning, we do not commit any mistake and everything we do gives a good outcome. Is that true? We are not perfect. We UPians are not aliens or robots. We are just like you, the common people. We breathe, we eat, we cry, we get stressed, we commit mistakes and most of all we feel love. We are just the ordinary students with extraordinary dreams and are given the title that we are very proud of, “ISKOLARS NG BAYAN.”

We are people..and as people we commit mistakes..because we are not perfect...i commit mistakes..you commit mistakes.we commit mistakes...and everybody commits mistake...Because again we all are not perfect...So those were just few of the reactions or impressions that we can get from nonUPIans. All I can say is that, I am very proud to be a UPian. Do you agree with me???
